Kindness and empathy
Children learn to notice how others feel and to act on it. Kindness grows when it is seen and named.
Try encouraging: Your child shares a snack with a sibling. Log it as a win and talk about how it made them both feel.
Great futures are built one small habit at a time. Help your child grow in kindness, discipline, responsibility, learning, and confidence while celebrating the progress they make every day.
GreatEDU helps families turn everyday moments into opportunities to learn, grow, and build lasting habits.
“Are We Raising Future-Ready Kids?”: a practical 92-page guide to 21 life skills, with a GreatEDU habit or tool matched to every lesson.
Included while your subscription is active. Read online only: the guide cannot be downloaded or printed.

Every parent wants their child to succeed. But success is not only about what a child knows. It is also about how they treat others, how they respond when something is difficult, whether they keep trying, and whether they learn from their mistakes.
A kind word, an honest apology, finishing a responsibility, reading a few extra pages, or helping someone may look like a small moment today. Repeated over time, these moments can help build the habits that support a child's growth.
Good marks and good habits are not rivals. They grow best together.
Experienced teachers see this again and again: the children who keep going are often the ones who learned, early, that effort is noticed and valued at home. GreatEDU helps you notice and encourage these positive behaviours, alongside schoolwork, not instead of it.
These are not tests or scores. They are everyday qualities that you can notice, name and encourage, one small moment at a time.
Children learn to notice how others feel and to act on it. Kindness grows when it is seen and named.
Try encouraging: Your child shares a snack with a sibling. Log it as a win and talk about how it made them both feel.
Doing small things every day, even when it is not exciting, is how skills and confidence build up.
Try encouraging: Brushing teeth and packing the school bag without reminders, every day this week.
Owning a task from start to finish helps children feel capable and trusted.
Try encouraging: Putting toys away after playing, or watering the plants as their own job.
Questions, books and play keep the joy in learning, alongside schoolwork.
Try encouraging: Reading a few extra pages before bed, or learning the word of the day.
Regular sleep, active play and balanced screen time give children the energy to learn and grow.
Try encouraging: Swapping half an hour of screen time for outdoor play, and getting to bed on time.
Trying again after getting something wrong is a habit too, and one worth celebrating.
Try encouraging: Redoing a maths problem calmly after a mistake, or saying sorry and making it right.
Log activities, study, reading, food and positive moments in a few taps, so everyday effort gets noticed.
Keep an eye on sleep, study, activities and screen time so your family can have more informed conversations about daily habits.
Award stars for kind and responsible actions. Children see their wins add up, with a little celebration each time.
A daily score, 7 / 30 / 90-day and yearly charts, and a weekly summary help you reflect on what is improving and where your child may need more support.
Daily habits (plus your own), a kind promise of the day, and a quick "How I feel" check-in.
Word of the day, English, grammar, maths and general-knowledge quizzes, memory and number games, and short value stories with questions.
A reward store you set up (a family movie, extra play time), achievements, printable certificates and a milestone journey.
A private memory wall for photos of proud moments, plus height, weight and wellness readings over time.
Separate child profiles (within your plan's child slots), a Kid Mode with a parent PIN, and parent / guardian profiles.
Alongside the daily habit and routine tracker, GreatEDU has an age-based learning library for children from 3 to 18, so reading, maths, general knowledge and play sit in the same place as the small wins.
5,000+ words with meanings, examples, synonyms and pronunciation, a word of the day and spaced-repetition flashcards that bring tricky words back at the right time.
"Learn Maths in Minutes" techniques with worked examples, plus thousands of practice questions with checked answers, so children see why a method works.
80+ original short stories on kindness, honesty and courage, each with questions and a reflection to talk about together, with read-aloud.
Thousands of general-knowledge questions across topics, matched to your child's age group, with personal bests and badges to aim for.

Every kind act, finished task and new skill earns stars in GreatEDU. Now those stars can earn something children love even more: the spotlight.
Dance, chess, drawing, music, sports, coding: share your child’s talent with a photo, a short story and a link to their post. Every entry is checked by our team before it goes live.
Kids who earn stars in GreatEDU climb a day-by-day board, with medals for the top three. A new day is a new start, so every child gets a chance to be first.
Brushing teeth, reading, helping at home: when effort turns into stars and stars into a place on the board, children want to come back and do it again.

No tool can guarantee how a child's future turns out, and GreatEDU doesn't promise that. What it does is make the good moments easier to see, so encouragement happens more often.
